Rules:

1. Each nominated fandom must be a book, e-book or webnovel with 20,000 or more words.
2. Fanfiction must be more than 1k; fanart must be a completed sketch.
3. If you'd like movie version details included, you may put it in your request, but there is no guarantee of it being fulfilled.
4. All pairings are welcome; ship-shaming, character-bashing, or version competitions are not. That being said, please respect your giftee's DNWs. (Do Not Wants)
5. Only nominated fandoms, pairings and characters are eligible; nominate wisely!
6. Crossovers are eligible as long as they are between two book fandoms.

Signups require 3-6 requested fandoms, and 1-10 characters for each; relationships must be requested in the character field as 'Group: x/y' or 'Group: X & Y'.

A few questions about nominations and qualifying, since at a glance I don't see example noms or any guidelines:

- Is the exchange sticking to fiction only? (no this is not a troll question, and I ask because of the blanket use of the word "book")

- Are we nominating individual books only, or can a series be nominated as a series?

- Are non-English works allowed?

- Are novels based on non-novel source material (adaptations, spin-offs) allowed? I can give examples if needed.

Oh, thank you! This is my first exchange so I'll edit the rules to include my answers to all these.

-Fiction only; while there are some merits to nominating non-fiction, I feel like it could get messy quickly.
-Series should be nominated as series, but if you have particular book preferences, you can indicate that in your sign-up. (E.G. Harry Potter as a series is one nomination, but if you want something based on the Cursed Child, you can say so.)
-Non-English works are allowed.
-Yes! I assume you're talking about things like the Star Wars/Star Trek novels. However you'll have to nominate the specific tag for the book, rather than 'Star Wars'.

Just a couple more questions:

Are you allowing crossovers? And if so, are there limitations on those?

What are the requirements for sign ups (how many requests/offers, etc)?

Crossovers are welcome! Just don't have your signup be *all* crossovers or I won't have any luck matching you.

Requirements for signup are 3-6 fandoms, 1-10 characters and 0-4 relationships. Offers allow slightly more.

A couple of things:

1) 12:00AM causes problems every time it's used, because so many people don't know if it's midnight or midday or whether it's going into or out of the date stated. I'd recommend using 23:59PM the previous day or, if you're very attached to 12-something, 12:01AM (and styling it 00:01AM). You'll have less confusion.

2) You can't match on character OR relationship when you have both fields available. There's a reason exchanges don't use both fields like this, unfortunately. Either you will match 1 character AND 1 relationship, in which case everyone needs to request both, or you will match on 1 character and 0 relationships, meaning that in order for someone to match on a relationship in your current setup, they will ALSO have to match on a character. There is no way to tell AO3 "match either this field or that field". This is why other exchanges do both in the same field, e.g. use the Character slot and have people add "Group:" to the start of relationships nominated in it.

Oh, thank you! I've run exchanges before and I thought the AO3 setup would be intuitive. I've Learned My Lesson, haha.

The dates have been fixed to reflect what I mean. As for fixing the relationships, I just have to change all the / relationships to Group: (Character A) (Character B) right? (with / or & as applies.)
